I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but any feedback, ideas, proposals are always appreciated, e.g. on https://community.remotestorage.io/ ! Would love to discuss how to integrate the two better.
I mean, an alternative endpoint discovery mechanism โ if WebFinger is not available, just fetch the URL and look up links with the remotestorage rel in the Link HTTP header and HTML body, the same way Micropub and Webmention endpoints are discovered.
